'New Yorker' Editor on Obama, the Middle East and History

New Yorker editor, David Remnick, has a comment piece in the magazine's forthcoming January 12 edition contemplating the meaning and possibility of an Obama presidency. He discusses the legacy of slavery, what his election does and does not mean for race in America, and the extent of the challenges with which the 44th President will be faced - particularly in the Middle East.
