The speech touches on the post-9/11 overhaul of government which saw, amongst other things, the establishment of the Department of Homeland Security, as well as the perceived successes of the Afghanistan and Iraq interventions - and, of course, the importance of the struggle of 'good' against 'evil'.
FOX News' latest poll (January 13-14) puts Bush's job approval rating at 34%. Real Clear Politics' average puts it at 29.3%.
